Consequently we record our total mileage and periodically offset the resulting CO2 through the purchase of appropriate products.

We can then confidently state that no matter where we perform or run workshops, Entertaining People is not responsible for any increase in the total amount of CO2 in the atmosphere.

It is surprisingly inexpensive to make an entire event carbon neutral and we encourage our clients to do so.

An Example

An audience of 100 people, driving an average of 40 miles in each of 50 cars, would amount to a total mileage of 2,000. At current prices the cost of carbon offset would be about £10. A small allowance would also be needed for power consumption and waste disposal.

Offsetting CO2
In line with our stated commitment, Entertaining People has offset all 2008 mileage through the purchase of products from Climate Care. Our money will be invested in a number of projects designed to reduce emissions.
