Musical Director

 
Bryan Kesselman has musically directed a number of productions including The Mikado, The Wizard of Oz, Honk!, Oh What a Lovely War, Bugsy Malone, Babes in Arms and Little Shop of Horrors.

As a composer, professionally performed works include: 'Dreyfus: Prisoner of Devil's Island' - a Musical Drama and 'Maccabee' - a cantata for choir and chamber orchestra.


He is the resident composer for Hatstand Opera and has composed for them extracts from the 'Alice' books (Opera Through the Looking Glass), settings of 'It was a Lover and his Lass' (120 Lovers and Counting), 'The Tyger' (to the poem by Blake), and a mini-opera: '21st Century Chicken'.


He has also made a number of orchestral arrangements for the Scarborough Spa Orchestra.
