“One of our committee had suggested that we book a Quiz Cabaret and I had absolutely no idea what to expect.  It turned out to be a very entertaining and lively evening.  The musical items were well chosen to suit our members and the questions were a good mix of easy and slightly more challenging.  The musicianship of the performers, as well as the presentation of the evening was to a high professional standard.  In his role as master of ceremonies, Philip showed good comic timing, resulting in much laughter.  Of particular note was the clever handling of the audience so that no-one was made to feel inadequate for not knowing answers to questions.  It was an inclusive and highly entertaining evening.”

“I had never experienced an evening quite like this.  In some respects it was rather like a pub quiz, but with entertainment between the rounds where we could just sit back and enjoy being an audience.  The questions were as much about literature, history and general knowledge as they were about music, so there was something for everyone.  At our club we have two formats, big name classical musicians and members’ evenings.  This was completely different, but just as enjoyable.  The music was well performed and covered many styles and periods.  In summary, it was an evening of great fun.”
