My Quiz Cabaret Experience
My Quiz Cabaret Experience
Jean Levy of LJW
Why did you choose Entertaining People's Quiz Cabaret for your function?
The entertainment had been highly recommended as an ideal evening for us.
How did you find working with Entertaining People in the planning phase?
This aspect of the event was very good. Entertaining People are highly communicative and left no questions unanswered.
Did the event meet or exceed your objectives and expectations?
The Quiz Cabaret certainly exceeded our expectations. I cannot remember an event when so many of the guests have telephoned afterwards to say how much they enjoyed themselves.
What age range was represented by the audience and was the music well chosen to appeal to a wide cross section of the audience?
The music was well matched to the audience who were mostly in the 50-70 age range.
Were the questions a good mix of music and non-music, easy and hard? Was any specialised knowledge required?
Yes, there was a good mix of music and general knowledge questions. We did not know what to expect from the evening and supposed there would be slightly more general knowledge questions. Having said that, the musical bingo round was an excellent idea and a highlight of the evening. I am told that no table scored less than 60% of the available marks and so there were clearly enough easy questions to allow everyone to feel involved.
How would you describe the standard of performance?
The musicianship was excellent and the performers were well supported by the scorers.
What would you say to someone considering booking their first Entertaining People Quiz Cabaret?
Book it. Entertaining People have considerable experience and will tailor the programme to your specific needs.
How would you summarise your Quiz Cabaret experience?
It was a very pleasant, enjoyable, happy evening. The atmosphere was full of joy and laughter. By the end, the whole room was buzzing. And the benefit will carry forward as the success of this function will make it easier to sell tickets for our next event.
