Music for Choirs
Although each of our pieces has come about through different circumstances, one common thread is that we like to create pieces that can be sung by the widest possible range of choirs. Some out all our own work, while for other programmes we curated a mix of our material with pre-existing music or words that responded to the theme.

Bentley Priory Chronicles (2023)
A commissioned entertainment to mark the 10th anniversary of the Bentley Priory Museum. We curated a programme of pre-existing music to which we added new material, covering the 850 history of the Bentley Priory site.
Flying without Feathers (2018)
This commissioned programme consisted of original songs, narration, and fictional letters to past and present members of the RAF. The objective was to explore the 100-year history of the RAF, highlighting the diversity of those who have served.
Beyond the Trenches (2017)
Commissioned by Bentley Priory Museum as a finale to their exhibition, Dowding and WW1: The making of a Commander. The concert featured songs from the first world war alongside songs from 1900-1920. In addition there were two new songs written by us.
Fighter Command and the Battle for Britain (2015)
A commission performed as part of the activities to mark the 75th anniversary of the Battle of Britain in September 2015. The aim was to produce a family-friendly piece with adults and children singing together. The material had to reflect the key messages of the Museum as well as being entertaining and also respectful to the subject matter. The piece can be performed anywhere, but it was designed as a site-specific work for the Museum making use of four of the spaces in the Museum through a promenade performance.
Seven Ages of Man (2014)
This 30 minute cantata for choir and two soloists takes as its starting point the ‘All the world’s a stage’ speech from Shakespeare’s As You Like It. This was used as a jumping off point to consider aspects of each of the seven ages as they apply in the modern era. The piece includes both humorous and thoughtful sections. It was written for our choirs so that they could experience the satisfaction that comes from tackling a substantial work.
Voices that Should be Heard (2011)
A commission for the centenary of a local school. This is one of many pieces written by Bryan; more details from his website.
